How do I refer someone?

Enter your details and the details of the person you’ve referred to us. After they’ve made their transfer, we’ll email a £50 Amazon voucher to the email on your Currencies Direct account.
How many people can I refer?
As many as you like.
When will I get my voucher?
We’ll send your voucher within 30 days of the person you referred making their trade with us.
Can I receive a voucher in different currencies?
We issue our Amazon vouchers in GBP, but if you would prefer your voucher in EUR or USD we may be able to help so please talk to your account manager.
- Please note, this offer is only open to existing Currencies Direct customers with an active Currencies Direct account.
- Referrals will only be considered valid where the Referee has been referred by a tracked link, or has quoted their Referring friend’s email address/customer ID before they register.
- All vouchers are issued in Pound Sterling. Amazon vouchers in other currencies (e.g. Euros or US Dollars) are not available.
- All vouchers are sent to the email address attached to your account. Postal vouchers are not available.
- If the Referred customer transacts more than £5,000 (in a single or multiple trade(s)) after opening an account with Currencies Direct*, then the Referrer will be sent an Amazon voucher for the advertised value.
- Eligibility for the voucher is not contingent on the currency pair traded. As long as the value of the transfer is equivalent to £5,000 a voucher will be issued.
- Any vouchers earned will only be valid for six months from the date of issue. Any vouchers unclaimed after six months can no longer be redeemed.
- The Referred will be entitled to fee-free transfers. A Referrer may refer any number of businesses/friends/family members. The offer is only open to Referrers 18 years of age or older.
- This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer and excludes Currencies Direct employees, referring partners (current affiliates and their employees) and also excludes the referral of employees registering via their employer’s benefit scheme.
- The Referrer and Referred cannot reside at the same address.
- Currencies Direct is entitled to alter or suspend the "Refer a friend" promotion and its rules at any time.
- Use of the "Refer a friend" function is at the Referrer's discretion. If the Referrer is not allowed, for any reason, to receive these rewards, vouchers or credits, or will unfairly or illegally benefit from receiving these rewards then they must not do so.
- Any decisions regarding the validity of referrals are at the discretion of Currencies Direct Ltd.
- Vouchers will be sent within 30 days of the qualifying trade made by the referred client. The vouchers are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. All goods and/or services which constitute the vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant service provider.
